Novi Pazar - at least 10 people killed

Kraljevo, May 31 (Tanjug) - At least 10 civilians were killed and more than 20 others were wounded in NATO's raid on wider area of center of Novi Pazar in the southwest of the Yugoslav republic of Serbia on Monday.

The found persons were put into the hospital and medical center "Studenica" in Kraljevo, and balance of this crime is not known yet.

Aggressor fired more than 20 missiles on that part of Novi Pazar between 1.34 and 3.30 p.m., solely on civilian targets - residential buildings, the Jedinstvo publishing house, local radio and television, and Serbian television, close to the children's hospital and the bus terminal.

The building of the Raska textile factory had a direct hit.

One person died when a missile hit a bridge on the Brvenik at nearby Raska. Telephone lines with Novi Pazar, Raska, Sjenica and Tutin are down.
