Pristina, June 19 (Media centar) - Members of the separatist Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA) occupied Srbica on Saturday and the French contingent within the international peace forces in Kosovo and Metohija (KFOR) has sent tanks from Kosovoska Mitrovica on the scene, the Reuters agency transmitted relaying on the statement by an anonymous French officer.
Members of the KLA have entered Srbica downtown and fired from the automatic weapon to the air.

Frenchmen have contacted with the members of the KLA in an attempt to make them turn over their weapons in accordance with the UN Security Council resolution considering the demilitarization of the KLA.
Reuters said KLA have founded its own control point at the Kosovska Mitrovica suburb on Friday.
French soldiers and armed Albanians are now only several meters away from each others.
