Kosovo Polje, Yugoslavia, October 5th (Tanjug) - KFOR, backed by helicopters, tanks and armoured personnel carriers, entered at dawn on Tuesday Bresje (Kosovo Polje) and removed barricades on the Pristina-Pec route.
Later, they removed also the barricades set by the Albanians 200 meters away.
Serbs from Kosovo Polje, Ugljar and Bresje set the barricade after the attack on the Serb market place Bresje where two people were killed and more than 40 wounded.
KFOR spokesman British colonel Dermot O'Donovan stated to the Associated Press that Serbs offered no resistance when a convoy of trucks and armoured vehicles crushed the barricade this morning at 5:15.
The barricade was demolished because yesterday's negotiations about its removal failed.
Serb representatives that took part in the negotiations explained that they requested to be guaranteed their right to education, medical help and security.
